Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment and hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Assist in the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and welding helmet required
