FSQA Compliance Auditor

Riverside Natural Foods is seeking a highly skilled FSQA Compliance Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Food Safety and Quality Assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of our Food Safety and Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Corporate Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to our Food Safety and Quality Management System.
  • Identify potential food safety hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain audit records and dashboards to measure and track food safety performance.
  • Support the development and completion of Riverside's 'Food Safety Foundations' program.
  • Collaborate with plant teams to ensure all Private Label (PL) company requirements and internal audits are met.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge and experience in BRC standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP principles, quality improvement tools, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong auditing skills and previous experience in conducting and coordinating internal audits.
  • BRC, PCQI, internal/lead auditor certifications.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations for Canada, the U.S., and globally.
  • Proven desire to learn and passion for technical fields.
