Maintenance Painter

As a Maintenance Painter - Coatings Specialist at A. F. Theriault & Son Ltd., you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various surfaces.

• 
  
• Clean work areas and prepare surfaces for coating
  
• Organize and maintain inventory of coatings and equipment
  
• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications for coating applications
  
• Check the thickness of coatings using micrometers, callipers, or other devices
  
• Clean and maintain equipment used for coating
  
• Apply coatings to small items and touch-ups using paint brushes
  
• Prepare and apply stencils, decals, or other decorative items on finished products
  
• Select appropriate coatings or mix coatings as needed
  
• Tend or operate equipment to prepare surfaces for coating application
  
• Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat surfaces
