Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food service experience for our guests.
Job SummaryThe Food Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas. You will also be responsible for managing kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and inspecting kitchens and food service areas.
Responsibilities- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and inspecting kitchens and food service areas.
To be successful as a Food Service Supervisor, you must have:
- A strong background in food service management, preferably with experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and motivate staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
Boston Pizza offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also receive opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.
