Job Title: Haul Truck Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Haul Truck Operator to join our team at FLINT Corp. in Fort McMurray. As a Haul Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery within an open pit mine, executing assigned heavy equipment operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Haul Trucks and other heavy machinery within the mine
  • Execute assigned heavy equipment operations with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Immerse yourself in our safety and culture-building initiatives
  • Embrace opportunities for training on cutting-edge equipment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2000 hours of experience behind a 773+ Haul Truck, Articulating Truck, D6+ Dozer, OR 250+ Excavator, Loader, or Grader
  • Valid driver's license with 3-year driver's abstract required
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
  • High school diplomas and post-secondary degrees are considered assets
