Key Responsibilities- Manage store operations, including sales, customer service, and visual merchandising.
- Establish a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation among team members.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform financial activities, including cash handling and reporting.
- Review hours worked and payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.
- Communicate performance, corporate strategy, and business operations to the team.
- Process POS purchases, exchanges, and returns, and ensure accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Protect store funds and property by enforcing loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Prepare and execute physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
- Maintain regular communication with the management team regarding store operations.
- Ensure a safe working and shopping environment.
- Support in-store events to achieve company objectives.
- 3+ years' experience in a management role, preferably in the fashion retail environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales and profit, and training and developing a team.
- Experience in all facets of a retail store environment.
- Familiarity with reading and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with the MATT & NAT brand, company values, and understanding of our vegan beliefs.
- Ability to move and/or lift boxes and fixtures throughout the store.
- Capability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and select holidays.
