Key Responsibilities
  • Manage store operations, including sales, customer service, and visual merchandising.
  • Establish a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation among team members.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform financial activities, including cash handling and reporting.
  • Review hours worked and payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.
  • Communicate performance, corporate strategy, and business operations to the team.
  • Process POS purchases, exchanges, and returns, and ensure accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Protect store funds and property by enforcing loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and execute physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Maintain regular communication with the management team regarding store operations.
  • Ensure a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Support in-store events to achieve company objectives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a management role, preferably in the fashion retail environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and profit, and training and developing a team.
  • Experience in all facets of a retail store environment.
  • Familiarity with reading and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with the MATT & NAT brand, company values, and understanding of our vegan beliefs.
  • Ability to move and/or lift boxes and fixtures throughout the store.
  • Capability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and select holidays.
