About the Role

As a Digital Content Creator, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our content strategy. You will be responsible for researching and understanding local and global trends in the technology space, collaborating closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, and creating compelling content that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Content Creation and Writing
    • Research, analyze, write, and edit high-quality technical content for different platforms and formats, including short and long form blogs, whitepapers, technical guides, case studies, and social media.
    • Ensure all content is accurate, well researched, and aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather detailed information and insights for content creation.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for optimizing content for search engines.
    • Implement SEO best practices in all content to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
    • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics to inform content strategy and optimize existing content.
  • Content Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and execute a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content.
    • Stay up-to-date with local and global industry trends, emerging topics in the technology space, and news from our clients and business partners to identify new content opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content efforts with overall marketing strategies and goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation, with a focus on technical writing and SEO.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
  • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and engaging technical content.
  • Proficient in SEO best practices and tools such as Google Analytics and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and editorial skills.
  • Ability to thrive, work independently, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the digital space, including e-commerce, IT, cybersecurity, networking infrastructure, and cloud enterprise.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content planning software.
  • Basic skills in editing, design, or layout software (e.g. Adobe, Canva).
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset but not required.
