**Job Summary:**

Andy Transport is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AZ Company Driver to join our Dry Van U.S Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods within a dry van trailer throughout Canada and the USA.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, ensuring compliance with applicable Acts and Regulations.
  • Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
  • Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, and transportation of dangerous goods.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
  • Check all load-related documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Record and maintain required documentation, including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers.
  • Deliver product and proper paperwork to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Provide feedback to supervisor regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.
  • Maintain trucks' overall service and perform required inspections.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.

**Requirements:**

  • Hold a valid AZ driving license
  • Experience in CAN/US driving
  • Fast Card - an asset
  • Clean driving abstract (recently issued - 3 months)
  • Clean Canadian criminal record (recently issued - 3 months)
  • Valid passport
  • Eligible for U.S. Visa, if applicable
  • Valid COVID-19 vaccine passport
  • Fluent in English
