Join Evercore Exterior Ltd. as an Exterior Construction Technician. This permanent role requires a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction.

Work Environment

Work outdoors, at heights and in noisy environments.

Work Setting

Work on construction sites at various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
  2. Work with minimal supervision.
  3. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
  4. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
Certifications and Training

Personal protective equipment (PPE) training, First Aid Certificate, Fall Arrest Protection Training Course and Working at heights training are required.

Transportation and Travel

Own transportation, own vehicle, valid driver's licence and willingness to travel are required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a physically demanding role with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and a combination of sitting, standing and walking.

Tools and Equipment

Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, ear plugs and safety vest are required.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, excellent written communication and punctuality are required.
