Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sechelt Saffron Restaurant Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure

Work Setting:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week.
