B.T. Paving & Snowplowing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Raker to join our team. As an Asphalt Raker, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will also mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and help medical examiners as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Helping medical examiners as needed
- Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
- Paving and raking asphalt
- Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Directing traffic at or near construction sites
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
- Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification
- Traffic Control Signage (TWS) Certification
- Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
- Experience with equipment such as Bobcats, concrete vibrators, screeds, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, grinding machines, chippers, air guns, drills, trampers, small front-end loaders, chain saws, compactors, and forklifts
