Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide customer service.
  • Special Requests: Assist clients/guests with special needs and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Word processing software and internet.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
