About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to oversee and direct all aspects of farm operations at Jagdish Gill & Paramjit Gill. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing agricultural operations, including crop planning, harvesting, and equipment maintenance. They will also be responsible for supervising and training staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient crop production plans, ensuring optimal yields and quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain and repair farm equipment, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of farm operations with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in agriculture or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in agricultural operations management.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, achieving goals, and controlling costs.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
