Job Summary

Ombrex Telecom is seeking a skilled Telephone Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our cable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and complete test and service reports.
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble and take corrective action.
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as needed.
  • Install and maintain cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure seamless communication.
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
