About the Role

Scotiabank is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Wealth Management Associate Program as a Private Banking Associate. This 5-month salaried program is designed to develop sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals who are looking for a career in credit-focused banking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop core credit underwriting and relationship management skills
  • Build strong client relationships and provide financial advice
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with others
  • Influence, persuade, and build consensus with clients
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Requirements
  • Completing a undergraduate or master's degree by June 2025, or relevant work experience
  • Completed a course of study that enables registration with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds
  • Aspire to build a career as a personal banker
  • Curious, critical thinker with strong organization and time management skills
  • Sales and relationship-focused mindset
