Security Supervisor

Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of our resort, ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security guards, ensuring they are performing their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential security threats and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless and secure guest experience.
- Provide training and guidance to security guards on security procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
- Monitor and report on security incidents, including accidents, thefts, and other security-related issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a swift and effective response to security incidents.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a security-related role.
- Security Guard License.
- CPR Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
The Security Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
