About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network/Systems Administrator to join our team at MYRA Systems in Victoria, British Columbia. This position is eligible for remote work within Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and support datacenter network infrastructure, including Cisco firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Respond to support tickets, troubleshoot network issues, and implement network changes.
  • Support Windows Server and VMware infrastructure.
  • Monitor server and network health and uptime.
  • Work closely with project teams and vendors to assist with planning and implementation of IT projects.
  • Provide after-hours support in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Network/Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience configuring and managing firewall rules.
  • Experience configuring and managing Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+ years' experience managing Cisco firewalls and security policies.
  • CCNA, CCNP, Network+ certification or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Windows Server or Azure certification.
  • Experience with VMware, SAN Storage, Citrix.
