Store Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to join our team at Spelt's Shell. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
• Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs and preferences of our customers.
• Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement pricing and credits policies that are fair and competitive, ensuring that our customers receive value for money.
• Procurement: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and pricing standards.
• Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our store and its products, increasing customer awareness and driving sales.
• Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that our store operates within budget.
• Staffing Requirements: Determine staffing requirements, ensuring that we have the right number of staff to meet customer demand.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
• Staff Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
• Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
• Permanent employment.
• English language proficiency.
• 35 to 40 hours per week.
