Job Overview

We are seeking a registered Dietitian to join our team at the Community Care Clinic at qathet General Hospital.

This is a casual opportunity that requires working in a team-based environment to provide clinical dietetic services to patient care programs.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nutritional goals and care plans for patients.

Candidates must have a Baccalaureate in Dietetics or Nutritional Science from an accredited university, and be certified as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.

A broad knowledge of clinical dietetic theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care is essential.

You should also be able to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families, and work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate in Dietetics or Nutritional Science from an accredited university
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
  • Knowledge of clinical dietetic theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutritional goals and care plans
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
