Montessori Casa Teacher Position Available

We are seeking a certified Montessori Casa teacher to join our team at Ancaster Montessori School. As a MACTE accredited institution, we are committed to providing a high-quality education to our students.
This is a full-time, contract position with contracted hours of work from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday to Friday, September to June as per our school calendar. Two weeks off in each of December and March are also included in the contract.
Attendance is required at pre-planned school events, meetings, and open houses during the school year on a few weekends/evenings. Summers off are also a benefit of this position, with work available upon request. Benefits are available to the successful candidate.
Qualifications/Requirements:- A Montessori Casa Teaching Diploma from a MACTE accredited training program
- Experience working with children ages 3-5 in a Montessori environment
- A love of children and the Montessori approach to learning
- Effective behaviour management
- Positive, warm approach
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English
- Criminal reference check
- Up-to-date immunizations & TB test
Salary range: $40,000 – $45,000 for the contracted period.
