Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SPI Health and Safety. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our clients' equipment.

You will support our clients in ensuring the compliance of their equipment by performing inspections and maintenance tasks, both at customer sites and in our workshops. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing the inspection and maintenance of specialized protection equipment (fall arrest, gas detection, and respiratory protection);
- In-shop assessing work to be done on customers' equipment, providing estimates, and completing approved orders;
- At customer sites, interfacing with customers to confirm equipment location and site rules, performing contracted work, and documenting final work counts and parts used;
- Maintaining inventory control and logging all parts used in repairs;
- Maintenance of your vehicle (if applicable).
- Customer service according to our quality standards;
- Compliance with our corporate standards;
- Ongoing training and application of learned material;
- Completion of mandates in projected timeframe.
- Diploma or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or related field;
- Able to lift 30-40 lbs;
- Valid driver's license;
- Valid passport.
