Accounting Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at HARIS FAROOQ CANADIAN IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT INC. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll and benefits for employees, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
