The Role

  • You will be responsible for developing municipal projects from inception to delivery, working closely with senior staff members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Your expertise will be applied to design projects that cater to your interests and skills, expanding your knowledge and experience in the field.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues across different departments to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs for municipal infrastructure projects, including stormwater management, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, linear infrastructure, land development, flood protection, and recreational and waterfront facilities.
  • Prepare and review technical proposals and design work packages in response to client requests.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
  • Promote KGS Group's safety-first culture and contribute to a positive work environment.

About You

  • To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with relevant work experience in municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Eng. or Eng.L. designation is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of municipal analysis software, such as stormwater modeling software or water distribution modeling software, would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is also required.
