About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Taekwondo Coach to join our team at North Shore Taekwondo. As a Coach, you will be responsible for leading our athletes to success in competitive events and games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management Duties
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Taekwondo program
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve athlete performance
  • Training and Development
    • Design and deliver training sessions to athletes of all levels
    • Provide feedback and guidance to athletes to help them improve their skills
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate our athletes to achieve their goals
    • Develop and implement team-building activities to promote a positive team culture
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders
    • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a coaching or leadership role
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes
    • Knowledge of Taekwondo techniques and strategies
