Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Structural Steel Fabrication Assistant to join our team at REFAC Industrial Contractors Inc. This is a temporary position with a chance to work on exciting projects in a dynamic environment.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on experience)

About the Job

The successful candidate will assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers in various tasks related to metal fabrication. This includes operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting with welding, grinding, and loading/unloading vehicles. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to stand for extended periods, and possess physical capabilities to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent education
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
