Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at 9720413 Canada Ltd. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining tile surfaces in various settings.

• Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile
• Mix and apply adhesives to secure tiles in place
• Set tiles and apply pressure to ensure a secure fit
• Align and straighten tiles to ensure a uniform appearance
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
• Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
• Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
• Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
• Install tile strips

As a Tile Setter, you will work in a variety of settings, including commercial and residential locations. You will be exposed to dust, odors, and noise, and will be required to lift heavy loads and work at heights.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
• Ability to distinguish between colors and possess good hand-eye coordination
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Reliability and dependability
