About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, welfare, and dental benefits, as well as a pension program and skill development opportunities.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of nursing care and service to our residents, ensuring quality resident care and compliance with relevant legislation. This includes:

  • Leading the nursing team and developing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
  • Coordinating CQI, risk management, occupational health and safety, and infection control activities
  • Developing and communicating goals and objectives to the nursing staff
  • Providing leadership and support to the nursing team
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • A minimum of one year experience working as a Registered Nurse in the long term care sector
  • Three years experience working in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting
