About the Role:




We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at Cadillac Fairview.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Monitor and maintain the day-to-day operational systems in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre Complex.
  • Assist tenants with problems related to HVAC and facilities operation.
  • Respond to fire alarms according to standing procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance work and repairs on HVAC equipment and facilities as assigned by Senior Building Operator.
  • Monitor electronic hydro metering and GE lighting control system.
  • Keep Operator Class I informed of important issues related to the operation of the complex and tenant requests.
  • Liaise with operations staff and supervisors.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor within the general scope of the work.
  • Respond and complete all relevant work orders.


Requirements:




  • A Grade diploma with trade accreditation.
  • BES and/or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of years' experience with large industrial/commercial operations.
  • A working knowledge of HVAC, Building Automation and Fire Alarm Systems in office buildings and shopping centres.
  • The ability to complete projects as assigned by the Senior Building Operator.
  • The ability to liaise with tenants.
  • A team player attitude.
