Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide a continuum of services to support student learning, including consultation, assessments, individual and group interventions, support to families, and collaboration with external service providers. You will work collaboratively with schools and families to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff to help students overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct assessments and develop interventions to support student learning and well-being.
  • Work with students, families, and community agencies to provide support and resources to help students succeed.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to support student learning and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or School Psychology.
  • Eligibility for or possession of a Manitoba School Clinician (School Social Worker or School Psychologist) certificate.
  • Registration with the Manitoba College of Social Workers (RSW) or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
