We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Gas Station. As a Head Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor and ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that the sales floor is adequately staffed.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that the sales floor is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure that the sales floor is running effectively.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that the sales floor is running smoothly and efficiently.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
