Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and locate faults in telecommunications equipment, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Network Installation: Install, arrange, and remove telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Test and Analysis: Analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  • Work Assignment and Scheduling: Determine work assignments and schedules, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
