Truck Driver Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team at Se De Transport. As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan routes using navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations as needed.
  • Teamwork: Drive as part of a two-person team, working collaboratively to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, taking care to ensure accurate and secure transportation.
  • Permits and Inspections: Obtain permits for international routes and inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Transporting Hazardous Goods: Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience as a truck driver is necessary.
  • Communication Systems: Familiarity with trip recorders and on-board computers is essential.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong judgment, organization, and hard work are essential for success in this position.
