Senior Night Auditor

The Night Audit Manager is a senior role responsible for overseeing the overnight shift and ensuring seamless guest experiences. As the Duty Manager, you will be the point of contact for all guest interactions, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment
  • Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers using computerized systems
  • Perform daily accounting data entry and reconciliation
  • Run Night Audit reports and report discrepancies to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and Accounting office
  • Post late charges not posted on previous shift
  • Complete Food & Beverage Audit, key in journal entries
  • Complete credit card and city ledger sequence
  • Coordinate and complete back-up
  • Run night audit sequence
  • Deliver audit materials to Accounting Office
  • Complete daily sales & labour report
  • Complete gratuities porterage distribution report on a daily basis
  • Complete daily room pick up & forecast reports
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality preferred or Hospitality industry courses in Hotel Management
  • Minimum 3 years Front Desk experience
  • Rooms Forecasting and/or Budgeting an asset
  • Understanding of Yield and Revenue Management an asset
  • Proficiency in excel worksheet application
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills
  • Exemplifies Coast's core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability
  • Able to work overnight shifts including those on weekends and holidays
