Job Title: Home Childcare Nanny

We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Childcare Nanny to provide exceptional childcare services in a private home setting. As a Home Childcare Nanny, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our children.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide High-Quality Childcare: Engage with children in various activities such as reading, playing, and learning games to promote cognitive development and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Ensure the home is clean, organized, and free from hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Prepare Nutritious Meals: Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Establish a Daily Routine: Create a structured daily schedule that includes regular mealtimes, sleep times, and activities to provide a sense of stability and consistency.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and honest communication with parents/caregivers regarding their child's daily activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: Employer's home in [location].

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, with some flexibility required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A post-secondary degree in early childhood education or a related field is an asset.
  • Childcare Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a private home setting or a daycare center.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification: Current CPR and first aid certification is mandatory.
