About the Role
The Manager Joint Venture, Finance and Accounting will be responsible for optimizing various processes and systems related to accounting and finances at this site. This individual will provide critical information for decision-making and work collaboratively with the plant manager and the Finance Manager located in Lac Megantic.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly results, variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year as necessary.
- Prepare end-of-month reports and manage various accounts in accordance with different regulations (Masonite, US GAAP, and Canadian requirements).
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR).
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of the P&L, inventory, capital, headcount, and cash flow related to actual, forecast, and AOP results.
- Analyze company financial statements (P&L/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow), variance analysis, and other selected financial assessments.
- Assist with management and tracking current and forecasted capital expenditures, including analysis into FP&A.
- Deliver financial presentations and support related to monthly executive financial reviews, summary of quarterly results, board documents, AOP/forecast results, and business development initiatives.
- Communicate with internal and external customers (Sacopan board, Bank, external auditors, etc.) and provide necessary information as required.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Accounting, CPA required.
- 0-3 years of accounting-related experience; cost accounting, sourcing/supply chain, or manufacturing a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean Sigma tools and technique methodology, experience a plus.
- Able to consolidate complex data/information into concise communication points.
- Excellent organizational skills, including project planning, time management, and project management.
- A self-starter, flexible, and able to work on time-sensitive projects without daily supervision.
- Financial analysis acumen.
- Advanced database and Excel knowledge/skills, proficient in PowerPoint.
- Bilingual (English/French).
