We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at LanceSoft. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading technical needs assessments for multi-stakeholder, geospatial solution discovery projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical needs assessments for geospatial solution discovery projects, fostering engagement and developing effective requirement gathering strategies.
- Develop and document discovery outcomes, assessing client business requirements and identifying best technology solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to lay audiences, negotiating to achieve consensus and resolving conflict.
- Experience with ArcGIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online, as well as business analysis processes, tools, technology, methodologies, and modelling expertise.
- 40% Business Needs Assessment: Experience leading technical needs assessments, fostering engagement, and developing effective requirement gathering strategies.
- 30% Communication Experience: Experience communicating, presenting, facilitating, and leading client dialogues to reach agreement on technological requirements.
- 25% Technical Experience: Knowledge and experience of geospatial data and development, or related experience, including experience leading geospatial based projects and IT Infrastructure modernization and maintenance focused projects.
- 5% IT Public Sector Experience: Experience working in the public sector, with a strong understanding of industry trends in user experience design, integrated systems, solutions, and infrastructure.
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be based in Peterborough or Toronto, ON and will be required to work in a hybrid environment. If you are a motivated and experienced Business Analyst looking for a new challenge, please submit your application.
