We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical research program. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of the research process, including data analysis, manuscript writing, and project coordination.
Job DescriptionThe Post-Doctoral Clinical Research Fellow will participate in clinical care within an outpatient mental health environment, focusing on children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders. This includes diagnostic interviewing, consultation, and training in complex mental health disorders and their comorbidities.
The fellow will also engage in video game-based cognitive rehabilitation of executive function in children with a range of disorders, as part of a team of clinical researchers. Supervision will be provided by senior staff in the Department of Psychology.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in clinical care and provide diagnostic interviewing and consultation services.
- Engage in video game-based cognitive rehabilitation of executive function in children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Coordinate and deliver clinical research projects, involving data analysis, manuscript writing, and project management.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have graduated from a CPA/APA accredited graduate program in clinical psychology and completed a CPA/APA accredited pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology.
Candidates should also have internship-level training in pediatric clinical psychology and/or health psychology. All degree requirements must be completed before the fellowship start date.
Applicants are expected to meet the requirements for issuance of a Certificate for Supervised Practice and pursue registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario during the first year of the fellowship.
