Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Digital Security Manager to lead our technology improvements, management, and operations of our Digital Security program. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of Digital Security professionals to support AFSC's Digital systems
- Collaborating with the DS management team to achieve strategic business objectives
- Implementing, maintaining, and supporting AFSC's security technology stack
- Acting as a business partner to AFSC employees by providing clarity through communication of policies and direction
- Reducing risk within the organization through penetration testing exercises, vulnerability management, and remediation activities
- Developing short- or medium-term work schedules to achieve planned commitments
- Assisting in the performance management and professional development of staff
- Contributing to the development of annual business plans and business cases for key activities/projects
The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid leadership competencies with a servant leadership mindset
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Diploma (with 8 years) or Degree (with 6 years) in Information Security or related field, or suitable combination of formal education and experience
- At least 8 years in a leadership role within an Information Security environment or IT environment with a focus on Security
