We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Panago Pizza. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Work Setting:Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will work in a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure that all food is prepared and served to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and hygienic.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to a high standard.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
