About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Film Editor to join our team at Acre Post Production. As a key member of our post-production team, you will be responsible for bringing our clients' visions to life through expert editing and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with directors and producers to develop a cohesive visual narrative that engages and captivates audiences.
  • Post-Production Direction: Oversee the editing process, ensuring that all elements are carefully crafted to meet the project's creative and technical requirements.
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and direct the artistic aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sound design and visual effects, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality final products.
  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met throughout the post-production process.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in editing software, strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
