Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Drifters Motel & Restaurant. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel and resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our hotel and resort meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Prepare Budgets and Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping supplies and services.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
