Principal Risk Management Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated risk management frameworks for projects and clients, facilitating qualitative risk assessments and quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.
  • Act as a strategic adviser on projects, providing guidance and insights that support risk-based decisions and the achievement of objectives.
  • Assess the effectiveness of project risk management processes and advise stakeholders on how to enhance risk management effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, establishing trust, credibility, and respect.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary engineering or business degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience in a risk management, project management, decision analysis, project controls role, workshop facilitation involving large groups of people.
  • Expert knowledge in the application of International Risk Management Standards, i.e. ISO 31000, ISO 31010, PRAM, PMI, and industry best practices.
  • Good understanding of engineering, project delivery, and contracting strategies such as FEL, ECP, EPCM, collaborative contracting.
