Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for delivering compassionate care to patients. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care, as well as working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate client needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant (BCCNM).
  • Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area, as required by the position.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
