Work Site: Forensic Psychiatric Unit
As a Forensic Psychiatric Care Specialist, you will provide care and support to individuals in a maximum and multi-level security unit. This is a temporary, part-time position with rotating shifts. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support to patients in a maximum and multi-level security unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, social work, psychology)
• Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a psychiatric or forensic unit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
