Contract Academic Staff, Clinical Instructors – Faculty of Health Studies

Job Summary:
Brandon University is seeking highly qualified contract clinical instructors to provide excellence in nursing and psychiatric nursing education. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical instruction to students in various practice settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective clinical instruction plans to meet the needs of students in community, acute, and long-term care settings.
- Provide guidance and support to students in clinical placements, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty members and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of clinical instruction with academic programming.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical partnerships with healthcare organizations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a related field and relevant teaching experience.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).
