Construction Materials Handler

We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Handler to join our team at Dennis Construction Corporation. As a key member of our construction site support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from our warehouse and construction sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Read blueprints and determine work requirements to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment and machinery.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Enter data according to specified formats to maintain accurate records.
  • Transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents to facilitate data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel to accurately record and analyze data.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate company software and systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Sound discrimination to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
