Sales Associate - Part-Time - Tommy Hilfiger

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for selling and promoting Tommy Hilfiger merchandise through the execution of the TH Customer Service Standards. This role also performs various operational activities as assigned by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to company standard.
  • Ensure merchandise is filled to appropriate levels on the sales floor.
  • Maintain a visually distinctive and well-maintained store environment.
  • Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures.
  • Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and results.
  • Demonstrate awareness of individual contribution to business results.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attend Take 5 meetings and participate in staff meetings, as required.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with the TH Customer Service standards.
  • Build a repeat customer base through excellent service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
  • Effectively maintain zone coverage, acknowledge every customer within the zone, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks.

Personal Responsibilities:

  • Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrate a professional image and conduct.
  • Be flexible to work rotating hours, as assigned by management.
  • Communicate concerns to management.
  • Maintain respect of peer group, staff, and supervisor.
  • Create energy and excitement around shared goals and values and act with integrity.
  • Support all company/management decisions.
  • Adapt to the needs of the position, undertaking night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Policies and Procedures.
  • Observe the sales floor and stockroom for loss prevention and advise management of any unusual internal or external activity.
  • Execute Opening and Closing checklist duties as directed by store management to ensure the store is always ready for business.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Merchandising & Visual Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent and accurate replenishment of product onto the sales floor.
  • Comply with visual presentation standards.
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandise, as needed.
  • Maintain store organization, fixtures, hardware, and general cleanliness.

Pay Range: $17.25 - $18.55

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions on job advertisements in the province of British Columbia based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant skills.
