Job Description:

JAKU CONSTRUCTION is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction projects, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes to ensure optimal performance
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Pave and rake asphalt as required
  • Assist in demolishing buildings when necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Flexibility and hardworking attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Sound discrimination and hand-eye coordination
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty construction site environment. The role requires prolonged standing, walking, and heavy lifting.
