Job Title: Maintenance Operations Clerk

Alstom is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Operations Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate equipment inspection sheets, inspection labor hours log sheets, and defect booking sheets.
  • Book parts need to be back ordered and follow-up, coordinate status from Purchasing and Materials.
  • Generate repair work orders designated and unscheduled with corresponding forms attached.
  • Monitor outstanding defects and advise Supervisor. Ensure all resolved defects are closed in the system for equipment inspections.
  • Develop and update spreadsheets for various equipment replacement programs, modification programs, utilization and running time, and man hours spent per equipment event.
  • Close all completed inspection and repair work orders validating labor and material charges.
  • Ensure all inspections are processed on the same day.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education.
  • Knowledge of Maximo, SAP, or any ERP application, Maximo is a plus.
  • Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eye to detail.
  • Able to process a high volume of work orders.
