Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Systems Engineering in designing, developing, and implementing Hardware for embedded systems. This position requires a strong background in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with experience in mixed signal design, mechanical enclosure design, and proficiency with oscilloscopes and other analog test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, development, and testing of power systems hardware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware meets project specifications
  • Conduct simulations and analyze the performance of hardware components
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Mixed signal design knowledge: amplifiers, op-amp circuitry, control circuitry, signal conditioning, etc.
  • Mechanical enclosure design experience
  • Proficient with oscilloscopes and other analog test equipment
  • Analysis skills: proficient with Excel and skilled at using circuit simulation tools such as SPICE
  • Ability to anticipate the short and long-term needs of a design
  • Microcontroller design experience: ability to design around the feature set of a microcontroller, keeping the needs of software in mind
  • Test automation skills
